Senior Software Engineer - Advanced Systems Development

Job Summary: A consulting firm specialized in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementations is seeking a Senior Consultant (technical and/or functional profile) with strong experience in SAC Planning. The role involves working on end-to-end planning projects for large companies, contributing to model design, advanced SAC configuration, client training, and solution delivery. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and capable of working independently while collaborating in agile teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead or participate in the implementation of SAC Planning projects for enterprise clients. Design customized planning models based on each client’s management style and business needs. Configure SAP Analytics Cloud Planning modules: ○ Stories ○ Data Actions ○ Data Imports/Exports Integrate SAC with SAP HANA, BW, or other SAP modules. Translate client requirements into functional and technical specifications. Document project deliverables and configurations with clear, well-structured writing. Provide training to both internal consultants and client stakeholders. Participate in daily stand-ups and agile workflows with the project team. Act as a consultative partner to clients, offering best practices and recommendations. Required Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning. Solid understanding of financial planning and budgeting processes. Proficiency in configuring SAC (stories, data actions, import/export). Experience integrating SAC with SAP HANA or similar systems. Strong written communication and structured documentation skills. Advanced Excel knowledge. Proven ability to work independently and lead client conversations. Availability for occasional travel. Valid passport (required for non-Mexico-based candidates). Ability to read and understand technical content in English. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation). Familiarity with SAP DataSphere and/or SAP Joule. Participation in functional design or requirements gathering workshops. High level of soft skills: teamwork, adaptability, assertiveness, and client diplomacy. Role Overview You will work directly with the Partners across AI, operations, and systems design to build scalable internal workflows, automate processes, and bring structure to how we manage information, pipeline, and priorities. This is a deep-work, systems-focused role — not sourcing or events. What You’ll Do AI-Enabled Workflow Design Audit existing tools (email, Slack, Notion, Airtable, CRM) and identify friction points. Build AI-powered workflows for deal triage, research, summarization, communication drafts, and meeting synthesis. Treat AI as a practical force multiplier focused on clarity and reliability. Systems, Structure & Knowledge Management Build and maintain the firm’s operating spine using Airtable and other AI tools. Create schemas, tagging systems, and playbooks for pipeline, portfolio, and stakeholder tracking. Turn partner thinking into structured, searchable knowledge bases. Automation & Integrations Use tools like Zapier/Make and APIs to connect systems, reduce manual work, and keep data synchronized. Maintain automations as tools and processes evolve. Este rol exige un profundo entendimiento de APIs, webhooks, sincronización de datos y bases de datos relacionales. Serás el responsable técnico de integraciones críticas end-to-end, asegurando su confiabilidad, escalabilidad y continuidad operativa. Responsabilidades Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener servicios backend en TypeScript que conecten nuestra plataforma (Next.js, PostHog y servicios TS) con HubSpot y otros CRMs. Ser dueño del ciclo completo de integraciones vía APIs y webhooks: diseño, implementación, monitoreo, logging y debugging. Modelar y mantener flujos de datos complejos (leads, contactos, deals, actividades, pipelines), garantizando sincronización estable y confiable. Escribir y optimizar consultas SQL o integraciones mediante Prisma para soportar los procesos de sincronización. Colaborar con el equipo de producto para mejorar y extender las capacidades de nuestra integración con HubSpot. Requisitos Dominio sólido de TypeScript en backend. Experiencia probada construyendo integraciones mediante APIs HTTP y webhooks (autenticación, reintentos, idempotencia, manejo de errores). Capacidad y disposición para profundizar en HubSpot CRM: estructuras, pipelines, objetos, associations, workflows y limitaciones de la API.
