As a senior member of the marketing team, you will translate Mappa’s product vision into compelling go‑to‑market programs that drive adoption, activation, retention and expansion. You’ll own the end‑to‑end product marketing function—partnering closely with the Head of Marketing, Product, Growth and Sales—to build and scale our Product‑Led Growth motion across a rapidly growing B2B SaaS platform. Key Responsibilities PLG Strategy Execution: Turn high‑level PLG roadmaps into concrete programs (in‑app onboarding flows, self‑serve funnels, in‑product nudges). Lead A/B tests, cohort analyses and funnel optimizations to boost activation and expansion metrics. Go‑To‑Market Leadership: Plan and execute every product launch: define target segments, messaging, beta cohorts, enablement materials and launch communications. Align launch cadence with Head of Marketing’s global calendar and prioritize based on impact vs. effort. Positioning & Messaging: Own product value propositions, buyer personas and competitive differentiation. Craft crisp, user‑centric positioning that resonates across marketing, sales decks, website copy and enablement content. Cross‑Functional Enablement: Develop sales tools, battle cards and objection‑handling guides for Revenue teams. Train Customer Success on new features and gather customer feedback to inform prioritization. Market & User Insights: Lead market research, customer interviews and Jobs‑to‑Be‑Done workshops. Surface whitespace opportunities and recommend product enhancements to Product leadership. Mentorship & Process: Mentor more junior PMMs or product marketers as we build out the function. Define and document repeatable frameworks for launches, PLG experiments and post‑mortems. KPI Tracking & Reporting: Monitor cohort, funnel and revenue metrics; prepare dashboards and executive summaries for quarterly reviews. Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommend course‑corrective actions. Required Skills & Experience PLG Expertise: 4–6 years in Product Marketing or Growth roles at B2B SaaS/high‑growth startups, with hands‑on PLG execution. Launch Track Record: Proven success driving adoption of technical products—especially self‑serve and freemium models. Data Fluency: Comfortable with BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Tableau) and SQL for cohort analysis, funnel metrics, A/B test design. Storytelling & Communication: Ability to distill complex ML/API capabilities into simple, persuasive messages for diverse audiences. Cross‑Functional Leadership: Strong project management skills; experience coordinating Design, Engineering, Sales and CS under tight deadlines. Languages: Native‑level English and Spanish fluency for global collaboration. Mindset & Culture Fit: High ownership, bias for action, comfort in ambiguity and a passion for scaling startups.
