Requirements Proven experience in HR, People Operations, or a related role. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously. A strategic mindset, capable of aligning HR with business goals. Experience working with HR systems and process automation (a plus). You’ll collaborate closely with the Accounting Service Manager and third-party accounting teams to maintain financial health, optimize processes, and support our growing business. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping: Accurately record financial transactions, including processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts. Compliance & Tax Support: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, supporting tax filings and audits as needed. Audit Support: Leverage your audit experience to ensure accurate financial records and support internal and external audit processes. Budget & Forecast Support: Assist with budget tracking and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and variance analysis. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency. Implement changes where needed to ensure scalability as we grow. Collaboration: Work closely with the Accounting Service Manager and other team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis and decision-making. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a startup or small business environment with audit experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial ERP systems is a plus. Audit Experience: Experience in audit-based work is strongly preferred. Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and tax regulations. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis. Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying potential issues and providing solutions before they escalate. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Why Join Us? Position Overview: We are looking for a highly proactive Senior Lawyer to join our team in Mexico City and provide comprehensive support in Intellectual Property for our marketing agency. You will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance and protecting our clients' rights at Famosos. Responsibilities: Manage and protect intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Provide strategic legal advice for projects and advertising campaigns. Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Work closely with internal teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks. Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Lawyer in Intellectual Property. Strong knowledge of Mexican legal frameworks in Intellectual Property. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency. Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish.
