We are looking for a Head of After-Sales Service to lead and manage the technical service department of a company in the laboratory equipment sector. The role focuses on ensuring outstanding customer service, driving team development, managing operations, and contributing to business profitability through the after-sales service unit. Main responsibilities: Lead, train, and motivate the technical service team, ensuring high-quality customer care and adherence to service standards. Identify, develop, and promote talent within the team and across other areas of the company. Coordinate with distributors and technical representatives nationwide to ensure consistent service and training. Propose and implement comprehensive solutions to service, structural, commercial, or budget-related challenges. Manage the after-sales department as a business unit, ensuring it generates both service and economic value. Oversee the department’s budget, including service sales, expenses, salaries, and training costs. Ensure proper management of spare parts and tools inventory. Lead new projects requested by management and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare teams for new product lines each year and technological changes. Conduct regular visits to key clients and international suppliers to identify opportunities for service improvement. Plan and report department performance and activities, including satisfaction indices and compliance with preventive maintenance schedules. Collaborate in implementing and maintaining ISO 13485 quality standards. Key competencies and skills: Strong leadership and proven ability to manage and develop teams.
