OBJECTIVE
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in the planning, execution, and closure of projects. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting the desired quality standards. The Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, communicates with stakeholders, and employs effective project management methodologies to achieve successful project outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning: Define the project's scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies. Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies.
Team Management: Assemble project teams by assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members. Provide clear direction, guidance, and motivation to team members throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate and manage resources to meet project objectives. Monitor resource availability and make adjustments as necessary.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks. Develop risk mitigation plans and strategies to address potential issues.
Communication: Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, team members, clients, and management. Provide regular project status updates through meetings, reports, and presentations.
Quality Assurance: Oversee project deliverables to ensure they meet established quality standards. Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Change Management: Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resources while ensuring proper documentation and communication.
Project Execution: Supervise the daily execution of project tasks, monitor progress, and address any obstacles that arise.
Project Closure: Conduct thorough evaluations of the project to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Obtain final approvals from stakeholders and ensure all project documentation is complete.
REQUIREMENTS
A university degree in a relevant field; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus (not mandatory).
Proven experience as a project manager in the software development industry.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong leadership skills and team management abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
