We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our rapidly expanding SaaS company. In this role, you will be working closely with our CTO and Engineering team, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining software solutions for the LatAm and Mexican markets. You’d report to the CTO, and will handle both new projects and existing systems, creating reliable and scalable software solutions that support our growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Design, code, test and debug complex software while developing new functionality, and enhancing existing functionality, in order to satisfy customer requirements, both internal and external.
Work closely with other engineers to design and develop software products for the LatAm and Mexican markets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Sales) to define, design, and ship new features.
Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.
Use agile methodologies to plan and track work.
Regularly communicate with the team and management regarding project statuses and proposals.
Understand and adhere to all aspects of the software development life cycle.
Be flexible and adaptable to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Work during LatAm/Mexico hours and maintain regular communication with the team.
Carry out other responsibilities as necessary, adjusting to the dynamic nature of the role and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
2+ years of software engineering experience (or the equivalent expertise of ~5000 hours of deliberate practice).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
Mastery with Go, Typescript or Python.
Familiar with React, proficiency is a plus.
Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). MongoDB is a plus.
A self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. (Prior experience in a start-up environment is a plus)
Experience with GCP is a plus.
