Assessment instruments

  • Cognitive failuresAssessment instruments

This is the single factor CFQ measures: the frequency of everyday lapses in attention and memory during ordinary tasks.

    Part of CFQ

    Frequency, not capability

It's self-reported, and it's deliberately narrow: about frequency of minor slips, not about capability, intelligence, or diagnosis.

    How it shows up

A higher frequency shows up as more frequent small errors: a missed step, a forgotten detail, a misplaced item, in otherwise unremarkable daily tasks.

    Why it matters at Mappa

In roles where errors are costly, this is a useful, narrow signal to have precisely because it doesn't try to measure anything broader than what it says it measures.

Find out how often small slips happen to you.
