Assessment instruments

  • NarcissismAssessment instruments

Narcissism, in this context, is grandiosity, entitlement, and a need for admiration.

    Part of SD3

    About self-regard

It's the dark-triad trait most about self-regard: an inflated sense of one's own importance, paired with a strong need for others to recognize it.

    How it shows up

High narcissism tends to seek credit and admiration actively, and can react sharply to anything that threatens that self-image. Low narcissism is comfortable with a more ordinary, less inflated sense of self-importance.

    Why it matters at Mappa

Narcissism is the dark-triad trait most likely to look like confidence at first, which is exactly why it's worth screening for separately.
